Even harder if you sell your API as a product and want your customers to migrate but in fact have no true possibility to 'force' them. Maybe agree in contract on deprecation duration after which you're allowed to remove the old api?

I am an airbnb host in Australia and am purplexed because I have a booking enquiry recorded in my system for an enquirer with the name "Liu" but I can find no airbnb message from anyone with that name (but found you as an airbnb software technisian at Airbnb!). Any ideas? Geoff Kirk

For the question at the end about privacy policy in CICD pipelines. I would imagine that you have to translate the government policy about what you're allowed to store / know / etc into Rego rules. And then you have to figure out how to describe the thing you're building in terms of JSON, such that you can submit it to be reviewed by the Rego rules.
